2016 Subaru Outback Release Date And Specs

Being the next generation, 2016 Subaru Outback is expected to be more aggressive and stylish. This mid-size crossover is expected to be quite luxurious and durable. Until now, the automaker has not supplied enough information concerning this Subaru generation. However, Subaru fans should expect this crossover to feature better exterior and interior designs, engine calibration and driving dynamics.

After the 2015 model received redesign and few quite nice changes, this new model will be offered with identical exterior, design and calibrations. No major changes are expected so we think that it will offer same looks like previous year car. At the front we are getting three bar grille with large Subaru badge while at the back it is equipped with fine-looking leveled taillights. The automaker is likely to use the same body design used in 2015 generation. However, more add-ons such as roof rack, off-road design and minor changes to grilles will be added. The wheels and the finish will be toughened to help boost its performance on off-road and on-road conditions.

Both of these Boxer engine offer pretty good fuel economy so the 2016 Subaru Outback will not disappoint in this segment. Expect the smaller and less powerful engine to return 25/33/28 mpg in city/highway/combined drive conditions making one of the best in the segment. Larger unit returns 20/27/22 mpg in city/highway/combined drive cycle and we can conclude that both versions offer increase of about 10 percent when compared to previous generation.
