The market for the pickup trucks is ever expanding and the sales for the small trucks has been seen to be on a downward trend now accounting for the sale of 280,000 units annually. The Toyota Tacoma and the Nissan Frontier have been seen to be the only constants in this segments and are about to share it now with the new 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Expected to launch sometime next year the Colorado is closely related to the Global Truck Platform that have a good sales record around the world.
The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado model will be available with noticeable changed/modifications such as the new re-shaped headlamps with the addition of the LED daytime running lights and new fog lamps as well which will surround the grille. Away from its generic blocky design, the new 2016 model will have a new swept back shape look that will be good at differentiating it from the new Silverado.
