2015 Infiniti Q50 Release Date And Changes

Infiniti is Nissan luxury brand started in 1989, first on American market, and later it spread worldwide. It is relatively new executive sedan. It was launched in 2013 and it replaced Infiniti G series. The 2015 Infiniti Q50 will be offered with quite interesting features and we do expect to see it as one of the top models in its class.

The Q50 premiered on 2013 New York Auto Show. Its design was based on some of the older Infiniti models like Infiniti Essence and Infiniti Emerg-E. It was designed by one of the top Nissan designers, Jael Baek, under supervision of Shiro Nakamura. After New York Auto Show, Infiniti Q50 was promoted worldwide, on Canadian Auto Show, Geneva, Dubai, China etc. In Infiniti Q50 range there is also a hybrid version of the vehicle as well as Formula 1 inspired Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 exterior design represents elements of nature, like waves, soil, fire etc. Its design looks little bit too adventurous for an executive sedan to some online reviewers, but since futuristic design solutions are becoming mainstream again, it is possible that new Q50 will become far more popular due to its exterior looks. Its sheet metal was praised by many online reviewers and they call it much more adventurous, natural and organic than the earlier Infiniti G sedan models.

Changes For 2015 Infiniti Q50

Interior design is one of its stronger sides. A lot of premium and soft-touch materials are used in building this car’s interior, there are also some aluminum and optional maple ornaments, so there’s no doubt Q50’s interior design looks classy and elegant. On the other hand there are some online reviewers who claim that it can’t be compared with BMW’s 3 Series or some Lexus models, but they may be expected too much out of this nice looking sedan. Front seats are very spacious and comfortable, same goes for the backseat, and the cabin has really good soundproofed.

Overall impression is that Infiniti Q50 offers really comfortable rides, which you will enjoy, even if they last for more than a few hours. From hi tech features we need to mention 2 touch screen displays on the center console, 7 and 8 inches wide, Bluetooth, 6 speaker stereo system, dual zone climate system and number of safety features that all come with the standard Infiniti Q50 package.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 will probably come with its standard 3,7 liter V6, that can deliver 328 horsepower. This engine will be paired with seven speed automatic transmission, same as in earlier Q50 models. Setup that is offered here will return strong and fast acceleration. Transmission is praised by a few online reviewers, and it is said to be quiet and smooth. It comes with rear wheel drive in standard package, but there is all-wheel drive optional mode to be chosen. Other options is the hybrid powertrain that combines 3.5 liter V6 unit and electric motor for total power output of 360 hp. Standard version will return 20/30 mpg while the hybrid offers 29/36 mpg in city/highway drive conditions but have in mind that its price is significantly higher.

When it comes to the 2015 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge it will be the top of the line model with twin turbo unit of 3.8 liter displacement and in V6 order. This monster can deliver 560 hp that will allow neck braking acceleration and top speed of about 180 mph. Everything is moved a notch further on this version and we are getting 21 inch lightweight forged alloy wheels plus the great looking red color with high gloss clear coat finish.
