The 2015 Hyundai Sonata is a brand new model based on a new platform that promises to take it to the next level. Just like the previous car it still is a medium sized saloon that is good for carrying up to five people in decent comfort. The new car is expected to be released on the market around the end of 2014 at a base price of $21.500 for the model with the naturally aspirated engine. This puts it in class with other European and Japanese sedans.
Let’s start with what people are interested the most in such a car, its interior. Considering the price it comes, the interior equipment is quite elevated when it comes to the quality. There is reasonably good cloth upholstery, a quite good audio system that has four speakers and also electric front seats. For a bit extra you will be able to get the leather interior in 2015 Hyundai Sonata, a satellite navigation system as well as a premium audio system with 9 speakers. On top of these, the higher end model comes as standard with dual zone climate control and a panoramic moon-roof. This is quite promising offer and many will be satisfied with it.

The exterior is something else. The car takes styling cues from the already loved Genesis, so it manages to look quite a bit more aggressive than before. Unfortunately, the 17 inch standard wheels look a bit smaller than they are so it might turn people off but this is only a small disappointment and anyone can take the 18 inch wheels that look spot on. The 2015 Hyundai Sonata has a curved roof in order to give the impression of a much longer car than it is. There are LED both in the front and the back only on the top end model while the standard car comes with Xenon headlights only.
2015 Hyundai Sonata Specs
Engine wise there are only three options available. The standard 2.4 liter unit is a naturally aspirated petrol engine with 182 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. It is more than capable of moving the car at an appreciable speed but isn’t the smoothest one. There are two more options for 2015 Hyundai Sonata that are refined with turbocharges and the 1.6 liter I 4 and the 2 liter on the other hand is a much smoother engine that offers more power at 245 horsepower and around 260 lb-ft of torque.
It is interesting that the 1.6 liter I 4 details are not yet delivered. We do expect that this engine in 2015 Hyundai Sonata will deliver similar amount of power like the base 2.4 liter unit or even slightly more. It will certainly be the best choice for those that are looking for ways to reduce fuel consumption. Among other things that we do want to see are the details about the possible hybrid model.
Hyundai Sonata Side
There are two gearboxes available, the 6 speed automatic that comes as standard on both models and a 7 speed dual clutch one that is a joy to use thanks to its responsiveness and smoothness. Unfortunately there is not manual transmission available yet for 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Power is sent to the front wheels only but a four wheel drive system might be available in the near future.
Review Of 2015 Hyundai Sonata
Over the last few years Hyundai managed to significantly improve its offer and this is certainly one of the best car makers on the market with quite impressive offer. One of the best examples is the 2015 Hyundai Sonata for which we are sure that will attract large number of customers.
