The 2015 Ford Edge is going to be a new and improved version over the previous model. The new car is going to feature a new engine for the top end model, better interior equipment as well as more safety equipment. The car itself is going to better fit the general design scheme of the current range of cars, so expect a new and more expressive fascia as well as an interior that is going to face the driver rather than its passenger too.
Expect to see the 2015 Ford Edge available starting with the end of 2014th at a base price of just over $28,000 making it quite a bit less expensive than all the others in its class without sacrificing too much in comfort and looks. Price remains pretty much same compared to previous year model and since it comes with decent amount of changes we certainly like this fact.

2015 Ford Edge Back
The engine range for the 2015 Ford Edge is pretty much the same as that of the current generation. The base engine is the 2.0 liter inline four cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost that is good for around 240 horsepower. This is rated to tow up to 3500 pounds which is a best in class for this engine. Optionally, you will be able to get a bigger 3.5 liter aspirated V6 that can provide up to 285 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. Both of these two engines can get the car to 60 MPH in less than 7.5 seconds which is quite good.
Ford Edge Side
The news though comes in the form of a brand new 2.7 liter EcoBoost with no less than 325 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. This makes the car faster than some sporty cars, being able to get the car to around 60 MPH in less than 6 seconds with a top speed of around 130 MPH. With slightly improved engine lineup than it was the case with previous year model we are pretty sure that the 2015 Ford Edge will be able to attract more buyers.
2015 Ford Edge Review
All of the engines are available as standard with a 6 speed automatic with few small differences. The 2.7 liter engine has a select-shift gearbox that also has paddles behind the steering wheel to change the gears. This way you are getting higher level of control over the car allowing you to always choose optimal gear.
