The Enclave is one big family car that can accommodate up to seven people in good comfort. The car is roomy with enough cargo for all its passengers and thanks to this it is one of the best family cars out there if you can get past the flashy design. The 2015 Buick Enclave is going to be a small refresh of the old generation so expect the same engine and transmission as well as similar styling.
Even though the car made its debut in 2007 it didn’t change much so far and this can show how good a car is. This makes no exception offering a premium equipment level at a premium price. The car will be unveiled at the start of 2015 and it will be introduced on the market at a base price of around $37.000 making 2015 Buick Enclave quite a bit more expensive than its main rivals.
2015 Buick Enclave Side
On the inside we will see all the goodies the previous generation had and a few more. Considering this car has a premium price, it also has premium equipment. Even in its most basic form the car comes with leather interior, electric front seats, reclining middle row of seats, climate control and a small 5 inch screen for the satellite navigation system. Options include a triple zone climate control, rear view camera, a premium audio system as well as fully electric seats.
2015 Buick Enclave Review
The exterior of the car fits quite nice in the Buick range. It is imposing yet humble, offering a really nice allure. The headlights as well as the tail lights include LED technology for the low beams while the front fog lights have Xenon for much better visibility in low light conditions. The only drawback of 2015 Buick Enclave are probably the wheels which have a dull chrome look to them and are quite small for such a large car.
Buick Enclave Engine
Engine wise, the 2015 Buick Enclave only comes with a single engine and two transmission options. The engine is a 3.6 liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which is no slouch but when taking into account the sheer mass of this car it becomes quite tiny. This is also the main reason why fuel consumption is quite poor when comparing it to other cars in its class. The engine is rated to tow up to around 8000 pounds, so that’s quite a class leading number but the average fuel consumption of 17/24 mpg in city/highway and less than 22 MPG combined is pretty bad.
Buick Enclave Interior
The 2015 Buick Enclave is available with front wheel drive as standard while a four wheel drive is available as option. Unfortunately there are no limited slip differentials but the 6 speed automatic makes up for that with its smoothness and the comfort it provides so you can be sure that you will be getting one quite elegant and refined model.
Changes For 2015 Buick Enclave
There is no doubt that the 2015 Buick Enclave will face some serious competition and that includes models like GMC Acadia, Acura MDX, Toyota Highlander and similar. It will be a heavy battle but we think that Buick has a lot to offer with this model so it will certainly get those top spots on market.
